  • Davidson's Mains post office has been named Edinburgh's best in a major awards

There were celebrations this week at Davidson's Mains post office, which has been named Edinburgh's Best in a major city-wide awards.

The post office was named winner in the post offices category of the inaugural Edinburgh's Best awards, run by the Edinburgh Evening News, which saw dozens of businesses nominated, and over 14,000 votes cast.

The Corbiehill Road post office was nominated by local customers, and was described in nominations as "friendly, very helpful, especially with the elderly and covers a wide area due to closures to other post offices."

So congratulations to all the staff at Davidson's Mains post office - giving our area something to be really proud of.
